Imagine flying in your glass cockpit equipped aircraft and losing your Primary Flight Display. How would you accomplish a standard rate turn without your turn coordinator?
Use 20 degree bank angle for your 2 minute rate of turn and time your turn. It will be close and what little error you have, simply adjust.
For those that can remember formulas, take your speed, divide by 10 and add 5. The result will be very close to the 2 minute rate turn.
Example: flying 140 knots, divide 140 by 10 = 14 plus 5 =19 degree bank angle.
